The Fragility of the appearance
Rivers of Stone...

River, which river? The one that goes through my body, The one I carry in the blood, the one tht turns into nostalgia, ¿nostalgia? Yes, the one that lead us to the origins and throw us into the ocean.

There is a place that determines the proximity to the intime order a soft extasis, that goes thru the matter, is the estarting oint that takes us up stream and into tne river.

There are guardians, dediments, that are born together withtheprint left by the water flowing light for all peoples.

Ireri, in this series, places herself in that place, her body is one more guardian where the flow goes through, the painting on extension of herself, which has as duty to look for the answers of those cuestions asked long time before.
In these pieces, exist a search for identity, clear like a fliw tht caresses the satone in it´s path, it is reflected in color... of what are we made of if nos of this stones? We come from there, from upstream, from those mountains and this color that belong to us.

Ireri finds that moment where merges chaos and order, reason and emotions builts the color and then takes them in the name of everyone.

In the pictures there is an urge to find beauty and does not stand by, by the appearance, in a blink she lead us upstream the river, to watch ourselves in a natural mirror of our surrounding; It is there where her work achieve their goals, building a connection place, that goes from one reality and opens the doors of another.

Her art work convoke us, to search for colletive awareness within their own elements.

There is a goal of rescue through the search of beauty and a esthetic pleasure. An obsession for emblems of our origin, the autor specks for the place where her hometown resides.
